The premise is pretty simple, join us for a litter picking session! By joining us, a company can provide their staff/members with a team building exercise, connect with the community they operate in and experience some of the work we do.
Our Clean Clonmel Collaboration had a number of enquiries throughout the season. One of the groups that joined us for a litter pick was Boston Scientific. Boston Scientific is based on the Cashel Road so we choose a location convenient for their staff. We met at the TUS Campus on the Bypass on a lovely evening in August. It's thanks to Boston Scientific that we have a poly tunnel in Old St. Mary's and a path in McDonagh Crescent. So we were delighted to meet up with staff members all organised by Siobhan, who has recently been in touch to organise this year's litter pick.
The first day of our Clean Clonmel Collaboration coincided with An Taisce's National Spring Clean 2024. We were delighted to join forces with Clonmel Scout Group, staff from Clonmel Borough Council and local Councillors for what turned out to be a busy, fun-filled day.
We are partnering with local organisations throughout the Summer to raise awareness and assist in litter control, including Boston Scientific, Abbott Vascular and Clonmel Parkrun.
