As part of Heritage Week 2024 we were delighted to arrange a Guided Tour of the River Suir as it flows along by Suir Island.

Some goals achieved from our 5 Year Plan



Better use of social media to galvanise support & seek volunteers for projects other than clean ups



Increase involvement from existing community groups & develop links with new groups

We invited Shay Hurley, a local Historian and Greg Roche of LAWPRO, (Local Authority Water Program) to speak about the built heritage and biodiversity of the area. The event was sponsored by LAWPRO and we were delighted to welcome people to the event that were new to our group.
